Hypocrisy wears many faces. Those who ALWAYS defend their team no matter how egregious the words/actions exemplify that. WHY DO THEY?

They have no problem pouncing on/attacking "the opposition" for everything anything any time any place anywhere. Yet they protect their own 24/7 and defend excuse deny. How sad that they are incapable of  being fair. I wonder why?

Loyalty causes some people to lack common sense.

Or being honest or being fair. It's a never-ending problem AG. All folks aren't like that of course. There are exceptions. But many are exactly like that. They will NEVER admit their side is wrong about anything ever. Never. It is a definite weakness in character that causes it. Unless they really don't know any better. Then it is a weakness of intellect! In either case it is not a strength! Thank you for your reply! :)

Yes, I understand. And I have found similar issues within politics. One of the reasons I try to avoid discussing it or being very vague about my views. You are welcome. :)

Sometimes I just have to run away from it AG. We have a classic movie channel called Turner Classic Movies. I don't know if you get it in Canada. No commercials. You escape into other worlds and times and really can rest and relax. It can be rejuvenating. Our American politics in Trumpland (used to be America or the United States of America but it is definitely Trumpland since he took over) is tediously boring.  Every day there is another lie another crisis another mystery another problem! Sameoldsameoldsameoldsameoldsameold DAILY! It takes a lot out of me so I take breaks! Thank you for your reply!  :)

Strategy goals often require tactics that seem counter intuitive to those goals in order to achieve them.

Nicely put tom. Counterproductive. Exacerbates. You say "seem counter intuitive". Every day there is another lie another mystery another problem another negative another attack another deny. Every day! Trump steps on his own successes because he cannot keep his mouth shut or his finger off Twitter. It is astonishing to me that he cannot take success without destroying it by doing/saying something egregiously dumb. He isn't that smart in my opinion. If this is his strategy what is the endgame? Being impeached? I honestly don't get it. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday!  :)
