I've wondered about their popularity. I stopped reading comics when I was a kid; I don't see the on-screen attraction. I guess they appeal to a lot of people.
Not really. There is a maxim in the Science fiction world: "90% of everything is crap". It is usually called Sturgeons Law (named after the SF author who formulated it) and it applies in any field. TV shows, books, art, whatever.
Point being that even though there are a lot of crappy performances of "Hamlet", there are also some good ones. It is our job to seek them out ;-))
I now have this vision of adult (kids) playing video games in the basement of parents home. Super hero movies or comic books, would just be the icing on the cake. *I just threw up a little in my mouth*
The very bright people of Hollywood realize that most parents give their teenagers get an allowance. And they want to take as many allowances as they can by putting out teenage stuff.
Yeah I liked a tad more than most of the other ones. The movie plot wasn't that good but the Harley, Deadshot, and Joker characters made for some interest. They should have had the Joker in it a lot more I thought. That is hands down the best Joker in any movie with the character.
I think it would have been a pretty good movie if they didn't go with such a silly antagonist. That was it's downfall for me.
I'm was pretty sure I was Wonder Woman when I was 6ish and I married a batman once apon a time ... and a spiderman used to play uke to me over phone till I fell asleep......Also I'm fond of Xman mutants. So you are wrong about those movies .... Cos I said so :)
I heard .... I thought rooster cleared all that up for me :) I was talking with him this week. I'm prone to Internet meltdowns ...cos i am. Just take it like a child having a temper tantrum and ignore it next time ... Unless I'm seriously serious .... :)
lol :) I'm have online meltdowns sometimes and I was pretty sure the Internet was trying to take over my life. I'm a princess and I'm allowed to have temper fits .... Cos I said so ;)
I was real busy climbing the ladder on my swing set with a foam sword and screaming " By the power of Greyskull!" around that age. Then I would dress our German Shepard up like Battle Cat and get yelled at for annoying the dog with Scotch tape and construction paper. :(
