America, believe it or not, is very successful and wealthy. Countries with half their population starving are jealous of our freedom. We have all these fields of cropland.
bh i say hand on heart.. you would be surprised at how the rest of the world views America... I am not saying it's right or wrong but I don't think jealousy is the prime motive...America is deeply unpopular with many countries.. including the EU and that's not cos they have starving people....
Unfortunately I have seen that many Americans are truly unaware of how the are perceived and many seem to cling on to this idea that America are perceived as the greatest... Sadly that's not true and hasn't been so for a long time.
I say that as someone who actually likes Americans...but sadly there are lots who don't
