Nope. I've given this a lot of thought. I had an Uncle that said he wanted to die in bed while having the best sex of his life. Although I felt it wasn't a bad idea, ultimately it would be a terrible situation to leave your partner in. So, I decided I'd rather be alone, dreaming about it.
Hmmm. Maybe it would work if I had the best sex of my life the night BEFORE I dreamed of it and passed peacefully! Whaddaya think?
Dying via fire, being shot or stabbed, tortured by ISIS, drawn and quartered or suffocated would be "OK by you"?

Dear Zee, I got that one worked out quite a while back, thank you... When the time arrives, I want to go into a deep meditation, known as mahasamadhi = the great meditation, and simply not come back.
This fellow did it, 1952 I think it was...Paramahansa Yogananda, he was giving an after-dinner talk in Los Angeles, and when he finished he simply mentioned that he was leaving now, and gently fell to the floor...this is the beautiful photo a reporter snapped about an hour before Yogananda's "death."
Love it. Just simply "leave". Outstanding. Elvis has left his body. Z has left his mind....

I agree, we cannot avoid our eventual death. However, I wonder just how many deaths we avoid by practicing safety and being cautious, i.e., looking both ways when crossing the street, not acting like Mario Andretti, not taking rides from strangers, not drinking and driving, not jumping into the deep end of the pool if you can't swim, not running with scissors, etc.
