Covering up and biased and skewed reporting is what most media does on a consistent basis. They tell you what they want you to know, not what you need to know. Media has also caused a lot of grief and has turned people against each other (prime example being turning everything into something racial) for some time now. Most media sources are as corrupt as our government.

The media is doing what they're supposed to do, unlike a Gov. controlled media the US. media is financially competitive and can exaggerate stories, etc. it's the people who interpret and run with the news that you worry about. listening and watching media only, is putting all your eggs in one basket and in some people's minds, the media's word is life as they know it.

  • I've got no problem with media as long as they do their job in smearing conservatives and extolling  the virtues of the left.

The media is just like everything else.  It is composed of all kinds of business people who want to make money.  They spin what they want to so that it sells.  Don't kiss up to any media chain.
