  • Popular in Asia.   I wouldn't eat them either and hear they are very, very rubbery.

Hey,  some people will eat cauliflower.   If the look of that abomination aren't enough to discourage eating it,  the smell and taste certainly should be. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 22, 2017 8:12 AM MDT

That's hilarious. Cauliflower is probably my favorite vegetable. One of my top 20 foods, for sure!

  • Squash?   No there isn't.  It's so gross.   Same for that white monstrosity that smells like old man feet.

I don't know how anyone can eat either if they have any other options. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at March 22, 2017 8:12 AM MDT

No, not squash. I agree that most of them are yuck.

So many people were traumatized by vegetables as children and never gave them another chance. So tragic!

  • No one ever gets traumatized by the taste of meat and bread though.

I like a lot of veggies.  Just not those two or when they are undercooked.  Like how all of a sudden in recent years undercooked green beans that still taste like grass clippings is the thing. Oh well, wax beans are better anyway.

  • I have a relative who got on the kick of serving only slightly cooked green beans and I've noticed everyone tells her how delicious they are but at the end of the meal there's still a big bowl of them left.  Yuk!

I'll agree with you regarding bread. I think most children suffer at least a bit of trauma about eating meat when they see Babe or Charlotte's Web and realize where bacon comes from! :)

Beans aren't my fave. Except garbanzos/chickpeas; I think vegetarians are required to like those!

  • That's the movies, not the taste.
Knowing where meat came from never bothered me as a kid.

Okay, I am sick of seeing those disgusting geoducks every time you reply, so I'm just going to concede!
