I thought that I would surprise my wife by wearing a clean unused trash bag but she could not stop laughing at me

I asked her if it was really so funny

She replied 'Yes, you have it on back to front'

    Oh, that is a major faux pas, but I admit, I've made the same mistake before. At least you didn't wear it inside out. That would have been awkward.
