Reminds me of the Friday afternoon I left the office and had this enlightening conversation with the Japanese receptionist:
Me: Sayonara, Sadako san. She: Sayonara. Ii shimatsu o. Me (intelligently): Huh? She: I said, "Have a good weekend." Me: What's Japanese for "Don't forget the Aeroguard?" She (intelligently): Huh?
We have so many different kinds of dragonflies 'round here and they are GROSS! Jokes aside I'll take a picture of them when they get in season so you can see how they blanket anything white.
It's OK, Stormy. They're in abundance this year. You can have a couple of each. They make nice pets. You don't have to feed them, don't have to clean up after them, and there are no vets fees.
I like to see both! I don't compare things like that.
Mind you, if I were a butterfly I don't think I'd want to see a dragonfly, having once watched one catch a butterfly and eat it, in flight. It spat the wings out.
