The FBI and the Senate are currently investigating the Trump Campaign/Russian scandal. What's the diff in the immunity each can give?

Which should take precedent? Will they get in one another's way?  Does the FBI lead and the Senate try to fit in its investigation? Do they work together so they don't step on one another's toes or become obstacles? Seems kinda tricky to me.
