Which of these two word-use choices below is the correct one?

I think both would be correct, but I prefer to use accidentally. Recently I have heard the term "on accident" used. I guess if a word or term is in popular use long enough it will become acceptable.

Thank you. In your opinion, does "acceptable" also equal "correct"?

Interesting response. I would guess "acceptable" is a personal choice by an individual or group, whereas "correct" is universal. Who will make the distinction? Quite complex. Maybe I should do a thesis.

Both are correct, but in certain contexts I would say "accidentally" is more fitting.

Lol, that 'on line' v 'in line' thing drives me absolutely batty! I didn't realize until you pointed it out that it's coastally determined. Ok, call me a west-coaster!
