No, but I've been to Daytona Beach during Bike Week.  THAT was an experience. :)

My best friend lives in Daytona Beach.  I had no idea when I booked my trip to visit her that it was Bike Week although I must admit that everywhere we went, we found the men to be perfect gentlemen.  That was the experience that made me realize that not all bikers belong to Hell's Angels.

Our school librarian's husband was an airline pilot and every year they would fly their Harleys down there. This post was edited by Element 99 at April 6, 2017 10:23 PM MDT

No, I do like motorcycles but I have not owned one for various reasons.

I have met several members of these Motorcycle Enthusiasts Organizations and they were really nice people.

Yes, and it was an older crowd because they are the ones who can afford those bikes.
They were an upscale group of people who liked expensive toys.

  • According to Google ... "I have." Most of them are just hang-outs for all types of motorcycle riders; week-end warriors, canyon racers, sport tourers, etc.  A few of the more popular ones in my area are .....

    "The Rock Store"  (Malibu)
    "Cold Springs Tavern"  (Santa Barbara)
    "Lookout Roadhouse"  (Lake Elsinore)

A moron here went into a biker bar and tried to rob it using a screwdriver. It was a well known biker gang. They got a hold of him and actually called the police for his own safety. They must have been in a good mood that day, otherwise...
