I don't see freedom as an excuse to avoid responsibility towards others. I see it as a right to make choices that determine the course of your own life. Not being responsible towards others means you take their freedom away from them, in some circumstances.
I am sorry...I'll take this down...didn't mean to step on toes...it was for an entirely different reason that I asked. I am too piecemeal and didn't complete my reason for "just asking"...misconstrued again...

What Fork said. The freedom to express yourself without fear of punishment from the government. It does not mean the freedom to say whatever you want whenever you want with no consequences. It has never meant that.
I have done it myself more than once. It happens, life goes on. Hopefully the person remembers their own misspoke words and forgives.
