  • I'm confused... Results most often come at the end..
History is a retrospective of what happened.
    What am I missing here?

I say, one better have their best results right now, because the end will come at anytime.

  • Always be thankful death comes at the end of life rather than the beginning.

  • The end of what?  And what is the used of good results at the end? Seems better to have them at the beginning so one may enjoy them longer.

Sayings like that only confuses people. It's all mumbo jumbo to me, but only if I don't understand it.

  • Dear Veena.K,
Short answer, NO...I do not agree...but wondering who is the "history" which says that?

The philosopher, mathematician and polymath Gottfried Leibniz (1646-1716) in his theodicy, argued that this is the best of all possible worlds (NO!)...later satirized by Voltaire in his classic CANDIDE...

I tend to go more with George Orwell; "A tragic situation exists precisely when virtue does not triumph but when it is still felt that man is nobler than the forces which destroy him."
