In the area where you live, what animal is the worst pest? Here it is White-tailed deer?

Yeah...we have lots of cats too, but many of the deer are in the city, where hunting them is verboten. Their only predators are automobiles.

Does your state allow them to be claimed for butchering at least?  I hear ya'.   They are trouble in urban and populated suburb areas.

The feral cats are terrible at times around here.  Spread so many diseases to the native wildlife and they don't really go after the moles, chipmunks, and other pesky rodents.   They go after the birds and rabbits because it's easier for them.  They look miserable too.   I loath  the people who put them out in the wild.

Yeah!  It's not good for  the pet cats and dogs.
I know the issue is the people releasing them but still they are a huge problem and should be dealt with as destructive and invasive species which they  are. This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at April 11, 2017 3:50 PM MDT

My sister lives in bumpkinville Florida. She is known as the cat lady. She feeds all of the strays and tries to get vets to volunteer to neuter them.

We had a controlled kill by some expert archers in two of our large parks. The meat was donated to the food banks and soup kitchens.

Good idea

We have quite a few of those too...but deer are too big for them to go after.
