Just occurred to me.. that if we are thinking of them, for whatever reason then poetic justice means they should also have us invading their thoughts too...
It's called sympathetic magic. I recommend making the acquaintance of Papa Legba and constructing an appropriate voodoo doll. He'll start thinking of you once the needles begin going in.
