Are you enthralled by those who are awesomely talented? Does talent compensate for a lack of other traits like integrity/honesty/kindness?

It is said that "beauty is its own excuse for being". Is that true of talent too? Do you ignore/forgive the very talented for being despicable if that particular shoe fits? Why ?

  • Nothing takes the place of integrity/honesty/ kindness. I'm like many others. I thoroughly enjoy excellence. Especially in the arts and in sports competition. To touch on your question, however, I won't excuse a lack of character or ignore it.

:):):) I'm very glad to know there are still people like you in the world to whom character matters. I fear such folks are diminishing in number driftwood. Success/wealth/power/talent seems to be more admirable to them than how such people treat others. Why that is I honestly can't figure out. Maybe you have a clue why that is? Thank you for your reply!  ")
