  • Well SapphicH,
The Knights of Monty Python are doubtless the original crusaders, but I still like old-fashioned Richard 1 of England (1157-99), aka Richard Lionheart...causing LOTS of trouble out there in the Holy Land.
It is told that he stood 6'5" tall, reddish blonde hair...handsome too...the lady with him here prolly his wife, Queen Berengaria of Navarre.
Oh, and I think Richard I was thought to be the king in the time of Robin Hood, too!

Richard 1 is ok. He had a great name after all, Lionheart. Do you think we have any crusaders here at the Mug?

Now that you mention it, we might have one or two crusaders here at the Mug.

Yes, there will be examples, also more pretentious ones. Hmm.

Sometimes, they are known to go hand in hand.

These are the only Crusaders I've seen lately and they aren't pretentious at all.  Too bad Glis isn't around for this dose of disco. :-)

I've always loved this song. Let's dancel!!!!

Is a good one, and Glis needs to chill. Disco is as varied as anything else, with good and bad songs. Yus.

He's chill.  He just decided we needed a bit of shaking up here.  It was a fun thread.  The fun seems to be gone lately. Too bad we are now being Trumpled on.

  • Oh Rooster, THAT brings back memories...I just Googled, and learned Crusader Rabbit was the first cartoon series created especially for TV, first episode 1949!
