    No. It was invented by someone at 3M (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing). They make a lot of things from Scotch tape and post its to fire wall barrier coatings. They even make their own machines to manufacture the products. 
    I worked for their factory that made glue and fire barrier. The running joke was "3M workers don't go postal they just come unglued."
