  • Was he supposed to stand there and say: Trump is a good man and I have serious doubts about his capabilities that's why I joined the ticket. It would have been closer to the truth but is outside of reason.

    You can't know that. It's a campaign, and candidates of all stripes will say anything to get elected. It's been a political reality for generations, and it would be naive to think otherwise.
