Is the bible only beneficial to white males? I never see them complaining about what a verse says in the bible.

  • No I read it. But I gave the verse so many times on that post I didn't think it would be worth it to do so again. Nonetheless, what does your previous post have to do with this one?

Lots of verses get 'talked down' in religious debates on the veb. like 1 Samuel 15 where he order genocide of the amalkites (verse 2 and 3). and later punishes the Israelites for not having killed everyone including livestock, women and children.

  • I see no reason to complain unless someone thinks to alter my life against my will through reference to their book.  That hasn't happened where I am recently, so, no complaints.

Hello JakobA? I don't think it gets 'talked down' as much as it gets 'talked up' by opposers. One of the most popular taunts on answerbag, yes?

The Amalekites continually assaulted the Israelites throughout their history prior to Jehovah giving the order. Even Agag's distant reletive Haman the Agagite tried to get Israel wiped out, yes? If there really is a God, could it be that God knew they would continue to try to wipe out the blood line of the seed of the woman? Genesis 3:15; Genesis 22:18; Genesis 49:10; Galatians 3:16; Galatians 3:29

The bible has been read by many people in an effort to understand it with out God's assistance. It separates people when that is done. The sincere and deserving are separated from others to complete God's purpose. It is God's purpose for man to enjoy life and use his free will properly, not in defiance of his creator. Allow me to give you what the bible says and you be the judge yourself.
