(There is confusion by translators translating parousia as coming rather than presence and , the Greek word erkhomenon which actually does mean coming.) You can read of this composite sign in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Revelation also reveals more to do with that time and more. All of these signs have been happening in one place after another for the past 100 years or so. Throughout history, one or another of these things have happened in one place or another but not ALL as in a composite sign that Jesus spoke of. (Luke 21:11) There will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another food shortages and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs.(Revelation 6:8) And I saw, and look! a pale horse, and the one seated on it had the name Death. God's sovereignty is a serious issue that has been challenged by Satan some 6,000 years ago. Man has tried every kind of government to rule himself without God to no avail. Jesus is the one that Jehovah has designated to have the legal right to rule mankind. Everyone has to choose who they will follow. I think I have seen before that you have some belief in God and the Bible? Have you thought about why a loving God would allow suffering? Some reasons I have been given by some I meet in the ministry when asking them why God allows suffering are 1. People suffer and die because God needs another angel. For example years ago a little girl in Argyle fell in and drowned in a septic tank while playing hide and seek. Back then when it was in the news we were talking about it with a business associate. QUESTION 4
Has All Life Descended From a Common Ancestor?

Darwin thought that all life might be traced to a common ancestor. He imagined that the history of life on earth resembled a grand tree. Later, others believed that this “tree of life” started as a single trunk with the first simple cells. New species branched from the trunk and continued to divide into limbs, or families of plants and animals, and then into twigs, all the species within the families of plants and animals alive today. Is that really what happened?

How Daniel’s Prophecy Foretells the Messiah’s Arrival

THE prophet Daniel lived more than 500 years before the birth of Jesus. Nevertheless, Jehovah revealed to Daniel information that would make it possible to pinpoint the time when Jesus would be anointed, or appointed, as the Messiah, or Christ. Daniel was told: “You should know and understand that from the issuing of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Leader, there will be 7 weeks, also 62 weeks.”—Daniel 9:25.
To determine the time of the Messiah’s arrival, first we need to learn the starting point of the period leading to the Messiah. According to the prophecy, it is “from the issuing of the word to restore and to rebuild Jerusalem.” When did this “issuing of the word” take place? According to the Bible writer Nehemiah, the word to reb...    less

(There is confusion by translators translating parousia as coming rather than presence and , the Greek word erkhomenon which actually does mean coming.) You can read of this composite sign in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Revelation also reveals more to do with that time and more. Throughout history, one or another of these things have happened in one place or another but not ALL as in a composite sign that Jesus spoke of. I was kinda keeping up with it as more languages were added but was surprised to find out that no other website even comes close as well as how much work goes in to it.

I just have hope toward God that all sorts of people will come to an accurate knowledge of truth and be saved. If there is no God and the Bible, which tells us why we are in the situation that we are in and what the remedy is, is just from men, what hope is there for anyone? If where we are now is the result of billions of years of evolution, what hope is there?

Can you clarify so I know where you are coming from?1. What are some differences and similarities between their time and ours in relation to the scriptures about the last days?2. I am aware of the Jim Jones suicide and the Waco guy but don't know a whole lot about them. For sure I don't know about all of the ones mentioned in every generation nor the dire preachments of death cults and doomsayers since I don't share their beliefs and their beliefs have nothing to do with my Bible based beliefs. Some may look at the words of Jesus and the apostles as "dire preachments of death cults and doomsayers", but I don't see it that way. Do you?EDIT: I was thinking that Don was mostly referring to past generations more so than our time.  less

But what do you make of Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Revelation, 2 Tim 3:1-5, Daniel 2, Daniel 12, 2 Peter 3, etc? What's wrong with "Sorry if I was wrong or offended you in my wording"?Does "if", "or" and "?" really look like I assumed anything? To me, your picking apart everything I say and labeling it as "silly", "dramatic", "assume", "drivel" comes across as you having some sort of ax to grind. I am sure you will get a boatload of support of how ignorant I am, as there are many on this site that prefer me not to be here which I will likely leave again.I admit that I am not the most educated on this site.
