https://www.pangeanic.com/knowledge_center/which-is-the-most-translated-website-in-the-world/ Well, the undisputed champion when it comes to offering multilingual translations of its content is not Apple, it is not Microsoft, Adobe, nor even the United Nations or the European Union as you might expect. It is the Jehovah’s Witnesses website (https://www.jw.org) which as you can notice by its url, offers a secure connection to its site. Jehovah’s Witnesses website is translated into more than 978 languages and dialects*, from Abkhazian to Zulu. (*Data taken in October 2018) The nearest any other website comes to offering information is Wikipedia, a worldwide community effort, with 287 languages. The first commercial website is Apple’s, which is translated into some 130 languages. The Vatican’s website is translated into 10 languages (including Latin). The European Union has 24 official and working languages, which are all national languages plus 2 regional languages (Welsh and Catalan) which can be used co-officially in some documents.
Hello Randy, JW's, available in over 1,000 languages now making it the most translated of any website. I'm guessing the big websites go after the languages spoken where the money is?
You're welcome, www.jw.org is was now available in over 1,000 languages. I was kinda keeping up with it as more languages were added but was surprised to find out that no other website even comes close as well as how much work goes in to it.
I would have thought that Google and some like that would have more, but then again, there's no money in many areas where these languages are spoken so likely no incentive for them.
