And that's the way some people idolize and admire celebrities. These celebrities can be singers, actors, reality show participants, tv presenters, athletes, and even politicians. Many people give them God-like stature and put them on pedestals. They become the gods of present-day humanity. Of course, because they are famous and "god-like", some people seem to think they somehow have more expertise in pretty much anything and everything they talk about and are smarter than anyone else. That's my rant and opinion on the subject. :) less

I don't think he has made it clear one way or the other. I hope he does. I would love to see the Trump haters resort back to screaming into the sky and having a mental breakdown like they did when he won in 2016. I'm being facetious of course, about screaming into the sky and having a mental breakdown. However, I do hope that he runs again in 2024. Republicans need to net just five seats in the House and only one in the Senate next year (2022) to take back control of Congress. The GOP is also expected to benefit from redistricting in several key states that hold the potential to shift the balance of power in the House. I'm hoping beyond hope this happens. The reasons for this hope are clear to anyone who is a patriot, who loves the United States, the Constitution, and their freedoms and rights. :) less
The longest bridge I ever traveled on is the Macinac Bridge here in Michigan. It connects the Upper and Lower peninsulas. It's 5 miles long, I drove over it several times in a car and rode over it a couple of times on a motorcycle. :)

In an amazing display of His love and mercy, the Father is pleased to make us (born-again men and women) His children. "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God"! (1 John 3:1) God gave His only begotten Son to die in our place so that we might be adopted as sons (Ephesians 1:5; cf. Galatians 4:4–5). As children of God, we have a place of glory with Jesus Christ. And because God has adopted Christians (born-again men and women) the world is a better place. "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may be glorified together". People have been waving signs for decades and people have loved seeing it and people have hated seeing it for decades. They have a right to exercise their 1st Amendment right by holding up a sign just as you have the right to exercise yours by complaining about it. So who is correct? The sign waver or you? Or does the 1st Amendment apply to all citizens equally? That said, I can see where constantly blocking one's view of the game with a sign, regardless of what it says, could get annoying. Other than that, I personally have no problem with the John 3:16 signs. :) less

Some might say it's because the justice system is broken. But that's really not the case. It's worse. The corruption of the justice system is increasing at an alarming rate. And, it's not being covered properly by the liberal media. In a corrupt system, the innocent are routinely punished, and the guilty often go unscathed. This idiot Darrell Edward Brooks Jr. is but one prime example of the guilty getting away with crime/crimes unscathed. And, who pays, often dearly, for this corruption? The innocent. This is only my opinion of course. less
For man-made works of art, I spent 5 maybe 10 seconds tops. I say this because in my opinion, most art, sculptures, etc, are man's attempts at glorifying man. So I'm not impressed. :)
Yup. The severed head was one of the first things that popped into my head. But I guess that was fine with the liberals because it was done by one of their Hollywood spokespersons. :)

Nor should Rep Paul Gosar be censured for posting it. Even Twitter left it alone. At least the last time I checked. This is just a matter of the powers that be in this administration, looking for an excuse to get rid of, who they consider an enemy. An enemy, not to this nation, but, to them personally. This is a small part of Rep Gosar's response to this censure. Which I agree with by the way: "If this cartoon “incites violence” and needs to be banned and me “punished” for it, then the Cartoon Network, Disney, and all of Hollywood must be shut down and “punished” for all the cartoon and film violence they portray. It literally means “assembly,” “congregation,” or “meeting.” A similar term was used in the Old Testament referring to experiences such as “the day of the assembly,” “the Lord’s congregation,” or “meeting before the Lord.”Thus, when Jesus declares: “I will build my church” (Mt 16:18), it did not come as something unfamiliar to the common listener. Shortly after, in the New Testament, the word is confined strictly to refer to the congregation of believers in Jesus Christ. It's worth mentioning that in the New Testament, no synagogue, temple, chapel, tabernacle, building, or any other meeting place was ever called a “church.” The term always referred to the Christian assembly and, in the New Testament, it was used for both the local community of be... less

In a setting like this, you never put your finger anywhere near the trigger. Nor do you ever point the firearm at anyone. Even if it has been checked beforehand, you still never point it at anyone. There should also have been a trigger safety/lock installed. Not to mention that there was absolutely no need for him to proceed in such a manner. The judge should have known better as well. less

Some people say that this makes football softer and easier on the body, whilst others suggest that the padding means that the players hit each other harder, so football is rougher. Both camps are right. Football players do indeed hit quite a lot harder than rugby players, who have to be more careful not to injure themselves or the other player, but the net result of the collisions are probably about the same for each sport. So when one looks at the whole picture, the sissy argument doesn't hold water in regards to Rugby or American football players. less

Looking at the condition the United States is in right now, the inevitable question I need to ask is: Could America survive another Great Depression. Food for thought. Pun intended. :) less

At odds with truth and the national interest. Something Fauci is notorious for. Fauci should have been fired by Trump over the conflicting and faulty advice Fauci gave him. I never had any reason to doubt what the CDC had to say about anything. Unfortunately for this country, that's no longer the case. The CDC's constant conflicting, confusing guidance since this whole Covid thing popped that balloon. The bottom line for me is the fact that Fauci was ever paid with tax-payer money is an embarrassment to the United States. Fauci needs to be removed from office before he can do even more harm to this country. As always, this is my opinion. less
About Me:
I say what I mean and mean what I say. I'm blunt, frank, uncomplicated, politically incorrect, and honest. I do not and will not play word games. When I answer a question, I try to be as clear and terse as possible. If someone still legitimately doesn't understand then I'll try to clarify even further. However, if I see the person I'm conversing with who begins playing word games and is becoming vitriolic, frivolous, and picayune, I'll end the conversation.
