Anything exciting happen in your neighbourhood latley?

I just watched 4 cop cars pull up to my neighbors house  then bring the guy out in cuffs and put him in the back of one of one of the cars. When they went to look for his girlfriend the guy laid  down on the back seat and started kicking on the window. The cops told him he better stop but 5 minutes later he started doing the same thing again so they gave him another warning. So I started thinking the guy was lucky he was  white. In the past I have seen similar things happen but with First Nation people and they always got beat and or tased. Cheers!

    Scarry, huh.

They should've they tased his ***.  Of course, had they done so, they'd been sued for using excessive force.  People think they can act anyway they wish, and if confronted simply cry foul.

Well it was more entertaining than scary for me but it really scared a kid in the neighborhood. The guy had the car rocking when he was kicking on the window and when the kid saw that she ran faster then I have ever seen her run. I believe that a bit of good can come from almost anything and maybe the good that comes from this will be that the girl will realizes that the guy is a crack head and crack heads get put into the back of cop cars. Also maybe the girl will start practicing her new fast running skills and win a gold metal for Canada someday. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at November 18, 2021 6:21 PM MST

Rarely does anything happen in my neighborhood. That's why I live here.

This isn't a usual occurrence.  There have been fist fights, but not this.

The USS California returned to the naval submarine base today, It's always cool watching the submarines come up the Thames River to the sub base.

Lot of leaf-blowing, dogs in sweaters and retired folks talking about winter coming.

Exciting stuff, I know. Just how I like it! :)

    Cheers!

Yes, I joined a bible study made up of mostly couples and married folks. It has been 735,840 days or 624 weeks he has had an opportunity to call me on the phone.

Your math is off a bit. 735,840 days is more than 2,000 years.

Yes. Today one of the local Christian ministries is joining forces with other ministries to hand out free meals, water, turkeys, clothing, and to give shelter for any who need it. This is not only a yearly Thanksgiving event but it's also a daily event, but on a little bit smaller scale. The people in this city give a lot. :)

How would I know?  His whereabouts is top secret, and frankly I don't care anymore.

Pouring rain here like I have hardly ever seen before on the BC coast. Some flooded streets and a lot of flooded basements in the city and a major disaster in the mountainous  interior of  the province. 18,000 people displaced from their flooded homes, roads and rail lines washed out.. Recovery has begun, fortunately only one death so far, a person caught in a mudslide.

    So sorry to hear that!

Sometimes I'm very late getting important news. But it never seems to be good...

I do try to follow good news every day. Small victories that keep inspiring me to work for more of those every day!
