What I mean is that no one can read your mind, which in this particular case would have been necessary in order for it to have been obvious. When you state that it is obvious, there’s nothing that indicates why the error was made, therefore, you are the only person to whom the reason for it could or would be known, or that you changed your mind mid-sentence. There are a myriad of reasons that an error appears, so that’s why I stated that it wasn’t obvious at all.

Now, surely Randy, either of us---given our extensive knowledge of the English language and total ease with wielding same---can make an educated guess about what actually happened with a high statistical "degree of confidence."

Good question, most 'Christians' I have talked to believe that it is the end times for the planet earth. But according to the Bible, it's the end times for the wicked. Most that I have spoken to believe that the wicked will remain on the earth while the righteous will be removed from the earth.

(Psalm 37:9-11) For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. 10 Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there. 11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Proverbs 2:21, 22) For only the upright will reside in the earth, And the blameless will remain in it. 22 As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, And the treacherous will be torn away from it.

Planets are around for billions of years, so that is highly unlikely. Just because someone wrote a story about it doesn't mean it will happen.

I don't understand what planets being around for billions of years has to do with rather or not the wicked will be cut off from the earth?
Do you believe that humans have been around as long as the planets you speak of? I don't see the correlation.

Or are you reading into what I said something different that what I said? Perhaps you are thinking that I said that the Bible says the planet earth will be destroyed?

I thought you were implying that whomever wrote that part of the bible was predicting the end of things.  And what does "the wicked being cut off from the earth" even mean? Also, where is the line to be drawn determining who qualifies for such lofty status? Will some court be empowered to pass sentence? Are these supposedly nasty folks to be loaded onto rockets and launched into space, never to be heard from again? Is this categorized as capital punishment, which is not sanctioned in many places?
