Why do some people ask a question and get some answers and then come back later and change the question?

It makes no sense to me! Does it to you?

Overwhelmed with good things in spite of tragedies in my life.

  • Makes no sense at all ... more of a self serving reaction I suppose. 

    That's just as annoying as the person who expects only answers to their liking. Getting all bent out of shape when the answer is not "formatted" or as "acceptable" to them.

    If this is referencing a specific event, feel free to send me a link in private. Without knowing that, it's tough to give a proper response. However, I will say that the TOS actually does cover this. Edits for the sake of clarification, fixing grammar, and similar things, are allowed. Edits that change the meaning of the question or to make it sound like answers that have already been given mean something else are not- that's actually a violation of the TOS.

    I think most people only edit to clarify what they meant.

  • Why is there no longer a fear of God in this country?

    In Proverbs 1 we are told the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge...in Prov. 9 we are told the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. In Matt. 10 we are told to fear the One who can destroy both soul & body in hell.

    Today's reading in Prov. 28 says, "He whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but he whose ways are perverse will suddenly fall". 

    Why would anyone want to take the chance of burning in an eternal hell where the fire is not quenched?

    If I am wrong I've lost nothing...but what if I'm right?
