Our national parks are no longer protected lands. Neither are our offshore waters. Everything is up for grabs. Is everything for sale?

If Russia wants to drill for oil in Yosemite will Trump et al let them? What about letting them drill for oil off US shores? Is that up for grabs too if the price is right? What about fracking? Will we see that everywhere? Fracking causes earthquakes. Check out Oklahoma. Is the US no more than a cash cow to be milked dry by anyone who can pay the price? Freedom of enterprise. No restrictions. Make money honey and screw any other concerns/considerations. "Come to America! Have your way with it. For a price" Trump has made America the world's prostitute apparently. Where making money is the only thing that matters. SIGH .

  • Trump's seeming lack of respect for National Parks and Monuments is something that disturbs me, as a nature-lover. Oh well. I'll be hiking in Pinnacles National Park today, the newest park created under Obama. I hope Trump doesn't do anything to ruin it.

I think Trump is planning to or already has rescinded all the "National Monuments" designations Obama declared national parks to be to protect them from the likes of people like Trump. Drilling will occur inside them. Fracking too. After all if there is money to be made according to Trump and his like-minded ilk by all means full speed ahead! SIGH. Thank you for your reply NevanB. If I were thee I would GO NOW and visit those parks. With Trump in charge we have no idea how fast they will be depleted/decimated/destroyed on the alter of FREE ENTERPRISE. :(
