If you were an HONORABLE Pol would you vote on any bill if you didn't know what it would cost or whom it would affect adversely? Why?

That's what the House plans to do today...vote on Trumpcare. This third bill hasn't been reviewed or costed out and many don't know all the details or what it will REALLY do to the people to devastate them. So the point of taking a vote is to do what? Pass it on to the Senate where it will be ignored/tabled/shelved/picked apart/ridiculed? Where is the WIN Trump is looking for in that? Another fail will rile him up even more won't it? 3-time loser? Or 3rd time is the charm? Which will it be do you suppose?

  • That's what they did with ObamaCare. Didn't Nancy Pelosi say we need to pass it in order to see what's in it?

There are most likely some anti-Trump people who will vote against it merely and/or mainly because they are anti-Trump, some pro-Trump people who will vote for it merely and/or mainly because they are pro-Trump, and yet others who will vote either for or against it for other reasons.

Yes, that is what will happen.

You mean just like happened with Obamacare and the Patriot Act?  This is not new behavior for Congress. This post was edited by Bozette at May 4, 2017 6:55 AM MDT

I think it's cute (not) how some of these vehemently anti-Trump-at-all-costs folks apparently assume that he has invented the wheel on everything he does in office. Politics as usual unless it's their guy, then it's time to cry foul.

That happens, to some extent, every time the letter behind the president's name changes.  It has just been over-the-top with Trump.

Some people (conveniently) don't notice that.
