Are there questions that can't be asked because language is too limited?

I sometimes am frustrated because I can't put into words exactly what I wish to ask and I have a healthy vocabulary. I end up having to take a person through an experience hoping they then have understanding of the question. This methink is because language is limited. It has no depth experience to add to meaning :(

    sometimes the thoughts in your mind aren't fully formulated yet, so you feel like you know what you want to say but can't put it to words.. who was it who said if you can't explain something in simple terms then you haven't understood it well enough? I think it's kind of of like that.
