Trump et al decry the amount of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. They insult it/dislike it. Yet they get all hissy fitty about a comedian's JOKE. Why?

For the anti-political correctness folks GET A GRIP! You want it both ways. You want to let it all hang out and say what you do and YET you get your shorts in knot when a PROFESSIONAL comedian tells what everyone knows is a joke. Make up your mind. Decide. Then stop whining about your choice! Fer cryin' out loud!  :(

If a conservative called a left wing politician a "c*ck holster", he would be immediately accused of contemptuous homophobic rant and viciously attacked by the thought police. We're just upset about the double standard.

    There is no double standard.

Trump makes fun of whomever he chooses and in whatever way he chooses.

The problem is that Colbert is smarter and more educated than Trump: and so Colbert's comments are more realistic and incisive.

Sort of interesting when you think about it---why is "c*ck holster" more offensive than "vagina."  (No, I would never call it that, because I generally do not make such crude associations, but what might be called homophobic is more a reflection of the fact that most of us have been acculturated to consider male homosexuality as "disgusting" as a first reaction---unlike lesbianism, which is a turn on for a number of men.)
