That can also apply to marching lock step, blindly loyal to a failed ideology. after all, indoctrination is not only a blind refusal to think, it's an indicator of blatant stupidity. Loyalty is a great thing when it is given/received for all the right reasons. Loyalty, like respect, isn't demanded. It's earned.
