Too bad parents can't foresee what their kids will become as adults and name them appropriately. It's very disappointing to meet someone with a great positive moniker who is nothing like the name and who is constantly negative/insulting/miserable. SIGH. Maybe people should be named accordingly and not take on an attribute like joy or hope or grace at a very young age. Name  them Sarah or Gertrude or Hortense.  That wouldn't disappoint anyone!  :(

  • According to your idea, I've seriously missed the boat also. My name is Michael, translated from the Hebrew it means "Who is like my God?" Not a description mind you, but an entreaty.
