Uh huh .... I was one of few friends able to buy the "tape " before it got band in Canada... Cos my parents were not paying attention... Then nirvana became a thing and dyed my hair black ...  next four years were a blur :)

I was kinda that kid too.  Mostly because I would just go buy them myself.   I used to get in trouble all the time at Catholic grammar school for bringing in satanic death and thrash metal tapes.  I actually got suspended for bringing a Slayer Haunting the Chapel tape in 6th grade.
