STNG fans, read...

At my work place we recently hired a new employee named, Ryker, named after STNG Commander Riker.  Does his father's fandom seem a tad excessive?

  • Star Trek, The Next Generation.  One of the lead characters was William Riker, Commander and First Officer.  The father of the above mentioned person named his son after this character.

    When I first saw the question I thought you were talking about Sting, the singer.  I quickly decided you were not.
