Per the report of presidential historian Julian Zelner of Princeton, on the foreign trip Trump looked uncomfortable and isolated. WHY?

Others looked surprised and distant. NATO leaders were all cool to him as was he to them. He was very hot with the Saudis though. Body language. You can tell a lot from that. Also facial expressions. Trump needs an overhaul in his appearance, his demeanor, his manners so that he will do much better next time...should there be a next time. He needs a Secretary of Good Manners in his administration. Very badly and bigly. Know anyone you could recommend to help the poor guy out? He is so hapless and uninformed and unformed.

I said from the start the man had less than zero diplomatic skills.. he'd already alienated most of the rest of the world before he even got elected and has done nothing since to make that better.

I know this is shocking to those who support him and celebrate his abrasive, arrogant stance, but people don't like arrogance and aggression.. It doesn't get you what you want and it just irritates people... Is that not also so in the States?

So he's the kid who no one wants to play with...

He cannot be helped, he has no class and you cannot teach someone who doesn't want to learn

It would be better if I were actually THERE rather than take the word of people who are looking from the outside in and making assumptions.

This reminds me of people who condemn a serial killer by saying "they have dead eyes" when the person looks totally normal and the accuser says this because he knows his crimes.

You look at Trump and see a moron because we KNOW he is a moron.  Who knows what people on the other side of the globe are thinking or what Trump is communicating by just standing there.  This is hardly investigative reporting being done, this observation.

Just to say Sharonna, I take all my opinions from the reality I see before me.. I SAW him push his way to the front of the crowd, the guy he pushed took it goodnaturedly but that doesn't change that it was ill mannered.. I saw his trout faced expression.. I heard the idiotic things he says.. and the mistakes he makes and how often he shows himself up to be a moron.. so I am not sure people are believing news or journalism.. I don't have to read stuff to see what's before my eyes..

Didn't he say about the Germans that they are, 'Bad, very bad' that's not journalism - it's what he said and that along with the other horrible things he has said, stupidly and openly, make other leaders hate him.. he's offended almost every one of them - so he cannot think they are going to welcome him..

Re body language.. some people can see it some can't.. Some people can see dead eyes, some just see normal.. people vary in their ability to read body language..  and Trump's is very clear... like at the inauguration.. how he and Melania stood coldly and stiffly together and Obama and Michelle were warm.. body language counts... they say that as much as 60 or so percent of our communication is non-verbal.. Try talking with your back to someone.. it's hard.. you can't see their expression, their body language...
