John Kelly, a Trump appointee, supports what Jared did in wanting backchannel to Russia. Says it was a "smart thing to do". D'ya think so?

A backchannel "shielded" from American government knowledge! Jared apparently did it BEFORE Trump was  sworn in and had no stature/authority to do anything remotely like that. We have ONE PRESIDENT AT A TIME in this country. Something of which Trump et al seemed to be very ignorant. So is Jared a smart guy or a fall guy?  Why?
