Why anyone would take Trump seriously is beyond my comprehension. America already looks ridiculous in the eyes of the rest of the world because of his being a candidate; take that from someone who lives in part of the rest of the world. I know that we not only look ridiculous we are ridiculous HarryD and you know what? Many Americans don't give a rat's a** about what other people think. They don't! Their hatred for Obama and Clinton is so intense they would take Hitler over either of them. The bunch of "fringe idiots" number in the millions. The unfortunate thing is that Hillary is NOT very likable. I'm a Progressive Liberal as you know and what choice do I have? I would NEVER  vote for Trump for dogcatcher or garbage hauler let alone President. I voted for Obama twice. During the 2008 campaign I grew to dislike Hillary. But I fear her less..much less..than Trump. Trump is a racist/bigoted/homophobic/hatemongering  arrogant conceited self-centered greedy boasting braggart. Ignorance is his hallmark. Now his supporters see him as their savior. I'm serious. They think he will make everything right . How do you talk to them? You don't get through. Bringing up all the outrageous insults that he has flung doesn't get through to them. They do not give a dam*! Whatever he has said and whatever he will do will be alrighty okey dokey with them. I heard that Farage was gonna address the Trump-fest here, Stu, and it was accurate, as he did it. He did not give whole-hearted support for Trump. I have been listening to the convention on Five Live. No policies. A lot of Trump, and every family member he has, but no policies. Vacuous, meaningless, but full of hate. What a charade.

It just so happens that we are seven years into a president who denigrates the USA and blames it for all the world'd problems every chance he gets. He has also had success at idolizing and deifying  lawbreakers who happen to be black, and inciting riots and terrorist attacks at law enforcement officers as the supposed evildoers. All that is perverse and untenable.

Trump will put intelligent capable people around him which will make America greater than it is now and be respected again.
