    as bad as how the writers' room must have smelled when they made the decision to make Joey fall for Rachel.. and actually went along with it..

    I was never too crazy about that show, but you are right.  NOTHING was as cloyingly nauseating as that final arc.  UGH.   It was almost incestuous and so depressingly desperate. 

    I mean WHY?    WHY????

    the last couple of seasons were pretty bad compared to the first ones -- no where as funny or interesting to watch.. 
    and I guess with Joey, that was their way of developing his character, but it was so alien to his character, it felt imposed and weird. I bet even "Joey" felt that at some point..

    also, that spin-off show should've been called "Phoebe" NOT "Joey".
