Mattis has a very good reputation and seems to be a person with good character and is well respected. So far he is walking a very thin line trying to avoid confrontation with the absurdities voiced by Trump. One day he will stop avoiding it and deal with it openly. How long will it take Trump to react and fire him? McMaster and Kelly caved and now are no different than any of the other toadies servicing Trump's agenda. Will Mattis roll over too or will he never go that low? SIGH. :(
