Oh I do declare Shar of the Rona, with your candid good looks and beautiful writing style, I'd look out!  You might be sending the wrong message to many people.  I would explain to them when they surge your messages that you are little busy over seas right now with Paris and the weather.  Tell them you wouldn't like to rain on the parade but unless they have 10 trillion billion million dollars to helping the world back on its axis, you aren't available.
You have to be picky these days Shar of the Rona.  You know there are over 7 billion of us out here.  There's got to be a few scary ones in the bunch.
Big smiles!  Caution is always better than regret!  ;) :)

Serious answer anyway---"No, it never crossed my mind."

Many people are less than precise in their terminology, so I always try to interpret words within their context.  It's become a definite habit.

Let me tell you a little story.  There was a man on here that I wrote back and forth to for years.  He was not interested.  He was the most unavailable person I ever met.

He is now my roommate.  LOL

We are not "romantic".   We are friends.   I knew he was just like me.  We are both so uninterested in being available on here.

If he does find someone to love, I wish him the very very best.  Meanwhile, I have a great friend that I don't mind sharing a house with that I can trust.

I wish you what you want and need as well.

    Thanks for the good wishes.

Since the question was a joke, I have stayed in that mode---I am happily married for what will be 36 years this year.

One of my wife's friends has an arrangement with a male friend that is just like yours.  It can certainly work well.
