OH PLEASE I couldn't believe my ears when they played MIchelle's and Melania's speeches side by side...WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?
WITH all his money, you'd think 'ol Don would have someone come up with a totally original speech for his precious, darling wife!!! did they think the media wouldn't pick up on the fact that it was almost word for word the same speech?

NOW if the reverse had happened, and a Dem lady did that, you'd never hear the end of the ridicule, etc., let's see if it happens with Melania!!
Because several key phrases from her speech were "lifted" from Michelle Obama's speech at the DNC in 2008 ! You would think a billionaire could afford a professional speechwriter.
Obama, Michelle Obama, Biden, and Clinton have all been accused of it. Didn't seem to affect them much.
That being said whomever help Mrs. Trump with her speech needs fired.
Blaming Melania for anything isn't fair. She isn't a politician. She is the wife of a candidate for prez. She does what she's told to do to help her husband. On the other hand sending her out there with someone else's words is unconscionable and unforgivable. I don't care that I don't like Trump. I like fair and that was not fair. The side-by-side speeches nailed the coffin shut. Despite the denials by the Trump campaign unless you are blind and deaf you KNOW the words were lifted. I think heads should roll and folks should be fired. Whomever is to blame needs to pay for that huge goof. And it

That's the thing that is so puzzling EC. How in the he** could that have happened? How is it possible that the speech wasn't completely checked out by someone? An Answermug member informed me that there are sites where you can check things like that out. I guess they use it in colleges to make sure that the Thesis or Dissertation a student turns in hasn't been copied from someone else. Why wasn't that site used? It's really so totally screwy. It's not like a brain surgeon or genius would have to be
