    Where can you get any of those that cheap?
    Costs are determined by insurance companies. Doctors/hospital etc charge 3-5 times more for any given procedure, knowing the insurance company will only allow them a set amount per procedure. We must always remember that health care in this country is a for-profit business, where the patients are NOT the first priority. The share-holders always come first.

    Kaiser Senior Advantage insurance Ele. That's what I just experienced. Those were my co-pays. Surgery for $20 versus the costs of lab tests and x-rays. Seems really odd to me.
