That is what the lyrics mean.   So that is what I must mean.

I agree with WingedWonder. 

Except for  the stages where it wasn't repeated.  You know like when they .... you're right.  It repeats itself.  I can't think of a thing where it didn't. 

It does tend to cycle back around.
