Trump's floating of possible Comey taped conversations was a "bluff" sez Trump. He also said it "wasn't very stupid". Do you agree? Why?

Sez he did so to keep Comey honest. Now do you really relieve him? What makes this time any different from every other time he says anything about anything or anyone at anytime for any reason?

It made Comey tell the truth instead of the lie he was laying the ground work for with his initial claims.
Comey did not want to be charged with perjury. Can you imagine the punishment criminals would give the former Director of the FBI in prison.

What lie is that exactly m2c? The info Comey had a friend leak was to protect himself from Trump lies. Comey documented every word of every meeting in multiple memos which he also shared with others as soon as they were wrritten just in case  that well-known LIAR Donald J.Trump was gonna lie. Trump LIED about who asked for the dinner to take place. Comey didn't ever want to be alone with  Trump and told Session that. WHY would he ask to have a dinner with the man he didn't trust?  Trump lied about what he talked to Comey about. He never explained WHY he wanted to be alone with Comey and even asked Comey's boss Jeff Sessions TWCE to leave the room. If you tell the truth why does it have to be one on one and ALONE? I'm waiting m2c. So once again please tell us in great detail exactly what lie Comey was "laying the ground work for"? Thank you.

He was releasing info implying that President Trump obstructed justice. And/or ordered him to back off of the Flynn Russia investigation. But that all changed when Comey got word there could be tapes.
Why did Comey have everyone leave the room when he wanted to inform Trump about the fake dossier that was floating around? Was Comey lying to the President?
