I'm not being sarcastic here. I really do not understand how or why it is that one country is responsible for another country. I just don't. Who decides?
It's not a question of responsible so much as who has the most to lose. China's proximity to North Korea means the possibility of millions of their citizens pouring across the border should Kim's regime topple. Which would obviously be an incredible hardship for all involved.
And then of course there's the matter of nuclear war which no one, but especially those in the region, wants. If North Korea's gonna go down, they're very likely to do it with a bang. Which would mean massive death and destruction.
So China has all sorts of reasons to want to play peacekeeper.
Oh. Okay then LO. Thank you for giving me something to hang to that makes sense . I do appreciate it a lot. It is in China's best interests to ride herd on North Korea which of course in turn means the rest of the world will benefit as well. I get it. I see the point. I'm afraid you've hit that nail squarely on the head Shar though I don't know if you are 100% serious. I can see this going that way 100%. The extreme ALT RIGHT WHITES I'm certain have KKK members among them. What with Trump supporting white rights and punishing other colors with legislative acts designed to cripple them I can easily see a resurgence in wearing white gowns and white hoods out in public! SIGH. I wish I were joking. I'm pretty sure I'm deadly serious. Thank you for your reply and the graphic. I shudder and cringe at what's to come! :(
