If Senators objected to Medicaid cuts in the Trumpcare bill won't they object even more if all insurance is cut out 100%?

What makes McConnell think the Senators who listened to their constituents at town hall meetings about how important the  Affordable Health Care Act is to them will vote to take away ALL insurance for everyone for possibly two years while the GOP gets its act together and tries to get a bill that enough Republicans can support. It makes no sense to me at all logically. Which means this must be a ruse to quiet the bloodthirsty savages. Set up a vote to REPEAL the AHCA without anything there to replace it for several years. Then if it fails McConnell et al will say they tried. I s'pose trying is better than not, even though you know it will fail. For show you know. To SAVE FACE.  I think it's a disrgrace. SIGH

The AHCA is the bill they failed to pass.  They are now going to try for a repeal of the ACA (a.k.a. Obamacare) with a 2-year delay.  That means the ACA would remain in effect for 2 years.  As two Republican senators have already stated they will not vote for that, it would only take one more for it to fail.  No matter what happens, it will not take away "ALL insurance for everyone".

They can't pass it because they want to appease their rich and wealthy friends. The American public frowns upon that sort of thing.
