Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» You have the power to fire anyone. You fire everyone involved in investigating you. Congress does nothing. What happens next?
Depends entirely upon the people of your country. If they don't like what is going on, then they vote in new people (sorry I do not know when all elections happen) but in 3-4 years they get another chance at president, and they can vote him out. Call or email your representative (senator, gov, what ever) and express your feelings, and get him/her worried about their jobs when election time comes.
While your take on this matter is sound, I must interrupt with the glossing over part.
You gloss over how much damage can happen in a period of one small year. Four small years can cause disaster. We have a clown in office who thinks Global Warming is a hoax. We have people backing that up because they read somewhere something about that hoax thing being true. That is how people interpret truth these days. That is what voted Trump in. And when Trump saw the sea of idiots who needed to be influenced, he jump on board and became their leader.
We have a reality star at the helm because that is all people watch these days. They watch themselves on the television. That entertains them. Trump is a man of that kind of people, and there are millions spawned in America. Every decade grows worse.
Here is Duck Dynasty. About grown millionaires who kill helpless ducks for a living and have their own show about it.
It was Number One for a long time. And that was after Honey Boo Boo. Don't let me get started on that.
No apologies needed m'dear. In six months Doofus DonJohn has already irreparably damaged our country Maurice. Another 3-1/2 years? I don't think we can last that long at this rate. By then we will all be eating Borscht, drinking Vodka and speaking Russian. I bet you think I'm kidding. I'm not. Thank you for your thoughtful reply. Our house is on fire and is turning into cinders as we speak. SIGH. :(
What happens next is irrelevant until you first find out why the investigators were fired. If they were unjustly fired then show the proof. If they were justly fired then show the proof. There's no room for knee-jerk reactions. If they were unjustly fired and there's proof for it then Congress and the President needs to be brought to task.
