When such intense emotion takes over fuggeddaboutit! Logic is not part of the formula.

    The world logical has not even entered the Trump White House.  Or the stages where he gave all those fake speeches.  Or the writings of any book he ghost-wrote.

    Forget about logic.  And calm?  He cannot digest that idea.  That would make him slow down enough to think about his last action and that may just stop his stone heart for good.   It definitely melted his tiny brain.
