You do know that China and North Korea are joined at the hip, almost literally?
So don't expect the sanctions to have any effect on North Korea whatsoever. It's just political blustering. China will continue to supply North Korea, keep them afloat, because the last thing China wants is a border with a US-friendly country and North Korea provides them that buffer zone from South Korea.
