Does distance lend perspective? Are Americans too close to the problem of Trump so that their view is too up close and personal?

Could it be that those who live in other countries have the DEFINITE advantage of distance when they look at a Trump? Up close and personal you see all the blemishes on the skin and even more blemishes/zits within and they are overwhelmingly present and growing more and more each day. Does "distance lend enchantment"? Is the "big picture" a clearer/truer measure of what the world is experiencing with a Trump? Is the forest more important than the individual trees? Your thoughts please! :)

Yes and no. I frequently notice critiques of Trump argued with the same kinds of gross generaliesation, bigoted prejudice and wishful thinking that they accuse him of using.

You do? Well everything is always subjective and in the eye of the beholder JakobA. We all see what we want to see. Nothing more and nothing less. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday.
